More About Pipo

EDUCATION

Pipo started learning the piano at the young age of 4, and the drums from the age of 7. During his teenage years he self-taught himself the guitar, and by the time he was 16, started performing frequently in his High School as well as in cafes and concert venues in Singapore and Manila.

Taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma, he focused on Music and graduated with top marks for the higher music program, and majored in Film Scoring at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA.  

EXPERIENCE

Over the years, Pipo’s musical experiences and endeavors have grown exponentially. He has collaborated with popular Singaporean DJ, Inquisitive to release the smash dance track “Way Back Home” which was performed at Ultra Music Festival Korea and Japan, and then premiered at the Ultra Music Festival Singapore stage.  He frequently works with fellow Berklee alum James Kim (DJ Auvic) and has released a few tracks with him, one of which was sold to the popular YouTube electronic label Epic Network. Branching out into other genres, Pipo also writes his own music, collaborating with a number of other talented songwriters from Berklee, including Michael Martinez, Brian Shin and Joey Petrarca.  His latest works have been with Disney, Viacom, and Social Turtle.
